Professional Membership - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Professional Membership in MESCA is open to those who are/were certified by the Maine Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) as professional school counselors or guidance directors and who are/were employed as school counselors or guidance directors in schools in Maine, or who are currently employed in counselor education, college counseling and/or admissions in colleges in Maine.

Student Membership - Free Subscription period: Unlimited Student Membership in MESCA is open to those who are enrolled in a degree program leading to certification in school counseling. Initial applications must also include the name of your institution and your advisor. This information goes in your member profile. Please email

Affiliate Membership - $40.00 (USD) Subscription period: 1 year No automatically recurring payments Affiliate Membership in MESCA is open to any person, institution, or organization interested in guidance and counseling and not eligible for any other type of membership.
